Apple release IOS 7.1 Monday with alot of improvement , debugs and smoothness. IOS7.1 is claimed as ferrari engine for iphone 4 as iphone 4 working slow since IOS 7 Released by Apple. Installation 7.1 on Iphone 4 make it much better but not as we have use it on IOS 6.IOS 7.1 came with alot of built in applications which many we have use between  7.0.1 to 7.0.6. Personally I update 5S on IOS7.1 this morning .Baseband was updated to 2.18 with IOS 7.1. It was big difference which I have feel , phone seems to be working fast,quick response ,running very well and smooth but there were a big shock for me and that was my Gevey sim was blocked . Bought 5 days ago  as alternative of Factory Unlock.Now it became ipod only.

Those using Factory unlock are most welcome to update their iPhones to 7.1. I am not sure but may be Sam unlocker saved signatures works for someone but I have not try it yet.  In the conclusion this update seems to be good news for all iphone 4 owners.

How to Downgrade iPhone or iPad

How to Downgrade or  Restore  iPhone ,iPad via saved Shsh Blobs .
Step by Step Tutorial for newbies.

First of all keep it in mind, that you cannot downgrade or restore your iPhone and iPad on previous version while new IOS versions are available This method is not applicable on IOS 7 .If you have not update your iphone or iPad on IOS 7 until , you can use this method of restoration . Officially  4.1 and 6.3 IOS version are available to restore your devices by Apple. If you want to restore between theses version then you have to be lucky enough to saved SHSH blobs on Cydia server. Otherwise there is no chance to install any IOS between 4.1 & 6.3(like 4.3.5, 5.0,5.0.1,5.1.1).The benefit of staying on these IOS is, Jailbreaking. Before installation  you must have Latest version of iTunes installed in your Computer to do the following procedure .
Connect iphone with computer and wait for drivers to install.

Close iTunes ,now  you must look for your saved shsh blobs . If your iphone was previously jailbroken on old version or desired version and you have update cydia some time or manually saved shsh blobs on cydia server then you can get them back and downgrade or restore you iPhone or iPad to those IOS .  
Download TinyUmbrella latest version .

Download latest version of TU

Open TinyUmbrella and find your device as connected device 

Now click on save SHSH and then click on LOG

You will see list of saved Shsh blobs like pointing in Image. Does in green means blobs saved. When you Click on Save Shsh available blogs automatically save in .shsh folder located in 

This process is called locally saved blobs .Now this is time to play .

Download Latest version SnowBreeze

Open SnowBreeze 

Click Next 

 Browse for an IPSW . Select which IOS you want to stich with blobs (desire IOS). You must select the IOS which Shsh files you will find. Shsh blobs will stitch only with same IOS . like you have saved blob for 5.1.1 then you must BROWSE for IOS 5.1.1 original firmware from PC.

 If you familiar with Old Bootrom or new bootrom then choice by yourself if you not then select New bootrom / i dont know . Snowbreeze will verifiy the IPSW.

 In this tutorial I am using 5.1.1 for 3GS.Click on next and open ifaith Mode.

 Open iFaith Mode and select saved Shsh blobs locally from the folder .

 Select your desired blobs

 Wait a moment

 SB will take minute and will verify your saved blobs either they are valid or not.

 Click on Build IPSW . Snowbreeze will stich your blobs with original firmware

 Process will take 10 to 15 minutes and stitched firmware will be save at Desktop by default .

At the end, snowbreeze automatically open iReb and guide you to put your device in DFU mode. see the instruction and put your iPhone or iPad in DFU mode. If  you succeeded to follow the DFU procedure you device should be turn black . The other method to put your iphone or iPad in DFU mode you can use latest version of Redsnow as well . 

Open iTunes a message will appear Found device in Recovery mode.

Recovery mode & Restore

 Press and hold shift button and click on Restore . A pop up window will open , select IOS which you have stitched recently on desktop . iTunes will verify restore from Apple server , a bar will be start running on iTunes and your iPhone or iPad as well. Wait for both bar to complete . Restore done. Now your iPhone will show activation screen. If you have factory unlock iPhone , iTunes will automatically activate your iPhone but if not  then you have to Jailbreak your iPhone with the help of Redsnow. (iPad, iPod  does not stuck on activation screen beside of IOS 7)Open Redsnow and jailbreak and unlock your iPhone by updating ultrasn0w.

Apple  released the public version of the iOS 7.0 version and its a super number of downloads happening , and you cannot abuse Apple for the error you are getting while downloading the iOS 7 on your device through the software update section in Settings. Here’s an error which many users have been reporting right now:

What is more annoying here is that you need to start the download once again if the error occurs, and the download doesn’t resume from where it had stopped. Devices like the iPad have got the iOS file of size more than 1 GB, and that is where the issue is happening. The actual error reads:

Reason:

The reason for this is only one – Apple’s server is facing a huge load right now and there is nothing else that is causing this error. If there was, the error would have been different, like the Error 3000 which we had explained earlier.

Solution / Fix:

For now, we would suggest you to be patient and wait for a few hours till the Apple servers load gets reduced, and then you would be able to easily download the iOS 7 file, no matter what the size is. The Apple download servers are quite fast most of the time but when any major releases are done, this downtime is a little expected, and you as an end user cannot do anything about it than to wait for the speed to pick up. Just retrying it right now would be a waste of data and time.

We’ll be updating you here as soon as we see the Apple servers picking up speed and not showing an error (we did install iOS 7 on an iPad Mini but the iPhone shows the error as mentioned above), so we too would be trying the download and then can get an idea when the download can happen without a hassle.

Step 5: Once you have reached Recovery mode, now you can restore  your iphone or ipad or ipod.

Step 7: Your device will now start restoring back to factory settings and Jailbreak will be removed.

How To Fix iTunes Error 1604,1600, 1601, 1602

Method 1:
Try changing USB ports.
Try using a different dock connector to USB cable.
Make sure that you are using the actual USB or the original.te
Try connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable.
Try update your iTunes to the latest one.

Method 2 :


1- Connect the device to iTunes, then put your device in Recovery Mode. using the steps below
Connect your USB cable into your computer.
Turn your iPhone off by holding the power button down until you see “slide to power off”.
Now hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to your iPhone. After iPhone is connected it should power on the device.
Continue holding the Home button, you will see the Apple logo appear and then finally a “Connect to iTunes” will be displayed, now is the time to release the Home button.

For iPhone 3G, 2G and iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 2G users running OS 3.1.2 can use iREB to fix error 16xx or 29:


1- Download iREB and Start iTunes.

Hold down power button and home button both at the same time for 10 seconds
After the 10 seconds release the power button and still pressing on the home button for another 10 seconds
3- Now close iTunes and Start iREB on your PC.
4- Select your device and wait for a few seconds till you get white or a red screen on your iPhone.
5- Open iTunes then press and hold left “alt” button on Mac or “Shift” button on Windows on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” button in the iTunes. Select a custom firmware .iPSW file and restore it. (note: this method doesn’t require a jailbroken devices)

Difference Between Old Bootrom and New Bootrom - An iOS Bootrom, known as “SecureROM” by Apple, is the most basic code that runs on an iOS device. It is read-only, meaning that you can’t write on it after it is installed. Each device version has its own Bootrom.
iOS jailbreaking is done by finding exploits in the Bootrom of that device. Once it is done, the rest of the stuff is pretty easy. Moreover, Apple can’t even fix that exploit without a hardware revision so exploiting the bootrom is a pretty big thing.

Difference Between Old Bootrom and New Bootrom

Only some devices have different bootrom versions like the iPhone 3GS and the iPod Touch 2G and are referred to as “new bootrom” and “old bootrom”.
The iPhone 3GS with the older bootrom had an exploit in it which got fixed in the newer bootrom which was released after 9 September 2009. Each model of the iPhone 3GS that got released after the 9th of September runs on the newer bootrom.

How To Find The Bootrom Version?
Finding the Bootrom version is very easy as it is included in the serial number and model number of your iPhone.

• Serial Number: If the second character of the model number of your iPhone 3GS is “B”, then it is uses the old bootrom. If it is “C”, then it runs on the newer bootrom.
• Model Number: The third digit of the serial number of your iPhone indicates the year it was released in (9 for 2009). While the fourth and fifth are dedicated to the week it was made in. Any iPhone made on or after Week 45 of 2009 runs on the new bootrom.

Jailbreaks for old and new bootrom also differ as the jailbreak software created with the old exploit can not work on the newer one.
